The sponsor awards scholarships to increase the number of minority students pursuing degrees in the fields of medicine, engineering, technology, nutrition and other health-related professions.
Applicants must meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for the CBC Spouses Scholarship Programs: be high school seniors who intend to pursue undergraduate degrees full-time or current full-time students in good academic standing at an accredited college or university; have a minimum 2.5 GPA, exhibit leadership ability, and participate in community service activities; and reside or attend a college/university in a congressional district represented by a Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Member.
