    the U.S. (African Americans)
  •   Out of the estimated 929,985 diagnosed with
      HIV/AIDS, 40% of these are African American.
 
  •   3.4 million African Americans have Asthma,
      38% more than Caucasians.
  •   2.3 million African Americans over the age of 20
      have diabetes.
  •   African Americans are 6-8 times more likely to
      contract Glaucoma.
  •   African Americans are 4 times more likely to
      develop Kidney Failure.
  •   Diabetes and High Blood Pressure account for
      70% of Kidney Failure.
  •   12% of the American Population consists of
      African Americans (35 million).
  •   The life expectancy of Caucasians is 76.9 years
