Ms. Criner is responsible for researching and writing for funding opportunities.
She directs, supervises and administers comprehensive community health
education program activities. Ms. Criner provides overall leadership, planning
and direction for the HBCU Health Promotion Alliance. She is also responsible
for the operation and management of federal and state funding awarded to the
HBCU Health Promotion Alliance. She acts as liaison between the Alliance,
campus-community, national, state, and local agencies.

Responsible for the recruitment of volunteers, project leaders, partners, and
sponsors for campus activities. Mrs. Robertson serves as a liaison between the
HBCU Health Promotion Alliance site managers, university administrators, and
funding agencies. She is also responsible for the development of new research
ideas, seeking funding opportunities, and facilitating workshops and conferences.

A graduate from the North Carolina A&T State University, Michael has worked with the HBCU Alliance since March of 2004.
He is responsible for all technical/support aspects of data analyzing, as well as establishing relationships with community

Mrs. Whiteside is a registered nurse with over 45 years of experience, and has been an instructor at The University of
North Carolina at Greensboro, and NC A&T State University. She is currently a facilitator for the well received Stress
Management program.
