Purpose:     The intent of this scholarship is to honor and assist a rising senior
                   nursing student that has demonstrated integrity personally and
                   scholastically as they acquire the fundamental knowledge necessary
                   to become a registered nurse with professional integrity.


Selection Criteria:     Sudent must comply with the following for consideration of
                                  this award.

                                  1.  Must be a rising senior nursing student in good academic
                                       standing  (no disciplinary action/probation).
                                  2.  GPA of 3.0 or greater.  (Must submit a transcript copy of
                                       GPA or official document listing GPA).
                                  3.  Must have involvment in community and/or school of nursing
                                       organizations (TELOCA, NCANS, NCNA, etc.)
                                  4.  Include two or three paragraphs, typed, doubled-spaced
                                       describing what it means and why it is important to have
                                       integreity in the profession of nursing.
                                  5.  Complete demographic sheet (my abe legibly handwritten).


Scholarship Amount:     $150.00 and up.  Award amount will be variable yearly.


Presentation:     This scholarship will be presented to the selected student at the
                          annual capping and pinning ceromony for the school of nursing.
